Lovely conversion with stunning views of Dartmoor. Located at the end of a lane outside of Tavistock,this us somewhere that I would choose to stay if I didn't live locally.

Actually stayed in Owl Barn! Lovely cottage, well equipped, comfortable and homely. Wonderful outside space and lovely view across fields and hills. Neighbours nice horses and sheep!!!

Really nice Location! I love how you can see the sheep and hourses out of the windows. I liked it here and enjoyed my visit.

Good service ...Food could do better

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas (2020) at Woodstone Barn, as a family of 7 (including 2 young children). The accommodation was excellently presented, with a well stocked kitchen. The owners putting up a christmas tree and decorations really added to the warm, family feel. There are 2 double bedrooms, a third room with two singles (beds will sleep adults) and a second sitting room that doubles as a good bedroom. There are two bathrooms, one on the ground and one on the first floor. Both are well appointed. Woodstone Barn is only a minute drive from Tavistock and around 2 minutes from some lovely walks in Grenofen and West Dartmoor. Highly recommended.

I’ve stayed at Woodstone barn twice now and I absolutely love it! The scenery and setting are really beautiful & for BBQ’s and just relaxing in the outdoor space it is wonderful. The family who have renovated these buildings have done a great job of creating a modern and convenient space, whilst maintaining the beautiful old features of the original Stone barns. They are friendly and welcoming, whilst allowing you your own space, so we felt secluded and relaxed, without feeling isolated. For a big family group, this space is also perfect, being attached to the Owl barn, which can be opened up into one big space. We found we had everything we needed and the kids were in their element, spendomg time outdoors with the animals. I would really recommend this place & will definitely be back again!
